Viewster aims to identify the world’s biggest movie buff

Viewster has released a Facebook app as it launches a search to find the world’s biggest movie buff. Qster pits movie fans across the globe against each other in a race against the clock to identify films and actors.

Available to play from today in the Facebook App Centre, Qster tests the knowledge of movie fans by presenting them with a scene from a movie and asking them to name the film, character or actor in 10 seconds or less.

Featuring a mix of blockbusters and household names, the game gets progressively harder as users are faced with more obscure films and actors. Movie fans are rewarded with points for correct choices, which can be used to unlock even more movies to play with. The names of the world’s biggest movie buffs will be revealed in a global leader board of top scores.

While some of us are still discovering a love of film, others have spent a lifetime acquiring a vast knowledge of many of the greatest movies ever made,” said Kai Henniges, CEO, Viewster. “With so much information stored in people’s heads, we decided to try and identify the world’s biggest movie buff by putting the public’s movie knowledge to the test.”

Movie fans can find the app by searching for ‘Qster’ in the Facebook App Centre or visiting:
Qster mobile apps will be released soon, giving film fans more ways to play the game.
